Join us for the West Virginia Solar Congress — December 10
On Saturday, December 10, WV SUN will host its first ever West Virginia Solar Congress at the West Virginia University College of Law (101 Law School Drive) in Morgantown from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Solar Congress will bring together our state’s solar advocates, co-op members, nonprofits, policy makers, and professionals to discuss solar in West Virginia. There will be morning and afternoon breakout sessions as well as a large-group discussion forum, with a happy-hour reception to follow. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.
WV SUN expands access to solar by educating West Virginians about the benefits of distributed solar energy, helping them organize group solar installations, and strengthening West Virginia’s solar policies and its community of solar supporters.
We fight for the little guys—the non-profits, homeowners and farmers that can’t afford the constant rate increases. We work with towns with long, proud histories that need new industries and new jobs. We’re looking to a future that’s locally grown—with power and good livings to be made in the hollers.
Check out our ongoing projects and contact us if you’re interested in starting a solar project in your community!
